Thoughts?

Actually scooped him in my dynasty league last night as he’s onky 23 years old. His per min. Production this year has been off the charts so far. Should have a good oppurtunity in NY this year. Not sure about his long term outlook but he should be added in deep leagues for boards at least

Was just looking at him for  possible pickup for next week (4 games).  He gets a lot of boards but doesn't score a whole lot.  He's never been a big contributor in steals or blocks which limits his upside and makes him more of a boards specialist.  I do think he can be useful in a 4 game week if you need boards.  He could also give you low TOs and decent FG% on low volume.  If he stays in the starting lineup and continues to see minutes in the upper 20s he could be very useful

watching him now and been monitoring NYK since the season opener..

his physical attributes are like those of K Faried and Tyrus Thomas

If they really want to go young, they could feature a starting lineup of:

PG F Ntilikina

SG Tim Hardaway Jr.

SF Kevin Knox

PF Noah Vonleh

C Mitchell Robinson

or go small like how they're finishing the game tonight with:

PG F Ntilikina

SG Tim Hardaway Jr.

SF D Dotson

PF K Knox

C N Vonleh

The great thing about Vonleh is once they go full tank mode, he will just get more minutes. Love his upside.

Well the writers here have been hyping him up in their podcasts so I guess they were on to something. That said, it took a major rotation change in Kanter being brought to the bench & having a poor game for it to happen. I’d like this line more if they played big minutes together. He’s not available in my league but I think taking a gamble on him now would be a good idea for people who have dead weight.

Would you guys drop siakam for him?

Man that's a tough one.  My gut says to stick with Siakam but you can't deny what Vonleh is giving or could possibly give ROS.   As for Siakam, he's starting to breakout and the way the game is being played right now, it definitely suits his talent.

Vonleh was 7th in total rebound % in the NBA coming into tonight's game... If he gets 28 min+ going forward he will be a giant boost in that cat.

Other positive signs are the increasing/season-high minutes and continuing good defensive stats.

Only problem is I can see him having a lot of nights with 5 or 8 points.... Hardaway just bombs all day long out there.

Pick him up now while you still can! From the first put back dunk I saw him get on our opening night, I knew he had a different level of explosiveness this season. And now he’s getting the time. I have to get rid of Kanter now, Robinson & Vonleh will get all the minutes they can handle!

I'm in the exact same boat!!! Lol Just posted in the WHIR forum. I was able to get Bjelica in both leagues and Vonleh is giving me that same feeling of "opportunity" in NYC. I'm wondering if Harrell will ever replace Gortat but he will get his minutes. Vonleh on the other hand seems to have locked up that starting PF slot and those stocks are extremely appealing. I have to decide before the night is out LOL

I watched M Harell's game against OKC last night:

- He relies heavily on pick and roll drop passes from SGA and Teodosic

- He's a hustle player/high-energy guy a-la K Faried of old

- That being said, he suits perfectly as a bench player rather than a starter

- I don't think he complements well with D Gallinari and T Harris who always looks to shoot

.. still can't pull the trigger to drop him for Vonleh <_<

Great points!!!

I really haven't seen Harrell play live in a game except for highlights but your points are noted.
