Huh. So you're saying, hold on now. You're saying that promoting women's sports might actually get more people watching women's sports?

Revolutionary. ;)

They're just trying to sell shoes

Not if it doesn't get promoted they won't. Same reason the NFL gets shoved down the entire country's throats.

Or because it's a horrible product. Volleyball or tennis though? Sign me up

By getting people to watch sports. Same way the NFL is popular because marketers figured out its the only way to get people to watch 5 minutes of commercials for 5 minutes of programming. Lol

Football and the NBA are popular because they are fantastic products.

Women's basketball is an objectively crappy product and hence its not watched.

Your opinions are objectively true? Genius.

seems like the entire country agrees with me regarding womens basketball.  Basketball's excitement is derived mostly from the display of athleticism and women's basketball will never be able to offer that.

Fantasy football is literally the only thing keeping the NFL running

It's redzone for me.  Without redzone the product substantially declines, unless its a game like PIT vs NO this week or a playoff game.  Redzone gives you football without the constant breaks.
