Eli Manning 2019 Outlook

Recommended Posts

What would be his floor Monday?  250 yards 2 TD 2 INT?

Looks like rain in the forecast.

Am I the only one risking championship hopes on Eli's swan song?

I'm considering him over Mahomes, tbh. That's just how good of a matchup Miami is. They've given up 31 touchdowns through the air on the year.

I’m with ya. Can’t bring myself to start Matt Ryan. Picked up Drew Lock in case I get cold feet Sunday.

I'm likely forced to start him for all the marbles since I have Matty Ice. Somebody hold me...

The best worst QB ever is set to retire Friday.

Thanks for the memories ELI. The only QB to beat the Pats in the Supberbowl(s) in 20 years....so far.

  • Eli Manning announced his retirement from the NFL after 16 seasons.

The 39-year-old two-time Super Bowl MVP will reportedly hang up his cleats with a 117-117 record over 16 seasons with the Giants. He quietly walks away with the seventh-most passing yards (57,023) and passing touchdowns (366) in league history, somehow never missing a game due to injury. Though his play clearly tailed off in his waning seasons before inevitably passing the torch to No. 6 overall pick Daniel Jones, Manning's perfect 38-yard rope to Mario Manningham in Super Bowl XLVI and, of course, his 32-yard strike to David Tyree's helmet in Super Bowl XLII will both live in perpetuity among February highlight reels. His two Super Bowl rings likely make him a shoo-in for the Hall of Fame despite conflicting opinions.

Show the man some respect.  In an era where guys with hang nails miss games, Eli always answered the bell.  Never missed a game due to injury.  Had some big clutch moments.  He won’t be a first ballot hall of famer, but he’ll be in Canton shortly there after.  Nice career.  Wish him well.

Agreed, even though he played for a team I hate, I still respect him as a player/athlete
