That's awesome and fricken crazy all at the same time.  Holy crap!

BTW if anyone is interested, whenever I do these bits of research I collect them here: https://fantasyortheory.blogspot.com/

It's mostly meant as my personal notebook, but if it helps anyone, enjoy.

+100 to score on Thursday night ... can't think of a better hoss to hitch my opening night coin to.

this kid is a very special talent, busted his ar$e to become the stud he now is - kudos to all with shares, he was THE unquestioned RONCO wr last year - set it and forget it.

 machine.  a friggin' machine.

I saw this too, how is a guy who has scored 36 TD's in his last 45 games even money to score? I know it's the Bears but he has scored in 3 of his last 4 vs. the Bears + a 2PT conversion in the one game he didn't score.

most will scream "TRAP!!!!", but i've wagered aplenty over the years enough to know that a double up return on a TD machine is worth the ride - slammed it hard yesterday before they dip him down to -110 or so.

GET ON BOARD, FELLAS!

... also love Aaron Jones at +125.

Anybody concerned about this?

Last year against CHI & MIN he scored 17, 16, 15, 17 in my 0.5 ppr league. So no

No one should have any concerns about any top 12 players on their roster. You're going to start them regardless (Unless of an injury), bad matchups or not.

No. Adams is as set it and forget it as it gets. That's why I drafted him anyway.

he faced a murderer's row of CBs last year, with palookas and tomato cans alongside him who couldn't sufficiently draw coverage away ... i remember beating the drum for him all last summer in the face of that nonsense (and the notion that Graham was gonna steal this kid's TDs with JUMP BALLS! 🤣)

tl;dr - he's matchup proof, precedent has long been set on that count.

Positives:

Didn't get hurt.

Led the Packers in targets, gave you at least something, 4 catches for 36 yds.

This is likely his worst performance of the year.

Negatives:

Limped off the field at one point

This performance was worse than any he had last year, by a significant margin.

Gave you WR4 numbers as a first round pick.

Rodgers recently said this will be a work in progress but the offense looked uglier than I expected. Rodgers wants to target Adams but without his accustomed audible powers maybe that will be harder. Lafleur should forget this run business and use his hall of fame QB. Trubisky threw 15 more passes than Rodgers, which is just bizarre to me.

Score was 10-3 enough said , 1st Q looked like a pre season game. Rodgers had to knock off the rust. Opening game for the season on a Thursday night in Chicago against that furious D, not making excuses but this clearly will be Davante's worst game of the season.

Better days ahead.  4 of the next 5 games will be at home.  We will eat.

Dont own him at all this year. Had him last season and it was awesome. Never had the right position to draft him this year.

Just wanted to come in and say dont worry about tonight. Bears d is legit the best. Hes going to be right back on track next week.

Rodgers seriously needs to stop holding the ball for 30 seconds just to get sacked. Adams will feast ROS.

Fortunately playing against trubisky but his has to be his worst game of the year. At bears at the season opener, all fired up, and they didn't even get preseason rhythm?

Buy low from some panicked people. Hope each of us can start 1-0 despite this

Rodgers looked very rusty and wasn’t reading the field well. The Bears defense is very tough, and in the backfield all night.

Every year, the first week is ugly for a lot of teams.

Adams will definitely put up numbers this season.
