31K% and not elevating the ball at all when he is making contact. How long do we wait until we are concerned?

Definitely more than 40 AB lol

The guy missed half of Spring Training, and a month and a half of the season.  He's so far behind the pitchers he's facing that early struggles should be expected.  I'd imagine it will take him 3 to 4 weeks to catch up. So maybe 60-80 ABs give or take.

Had a big game tying hit. I think he looks fine and will come around. Looks jacked (muscular) btw.

So, part time player. got it.

Day game after night game, they're just being cautious with him. He should be in there every day as the season goes on.

What are we thinking of Hicks ROS? He’s still struggling and I don’t know what to expect when the Yanks are healthy?

The Yankees signed Hicks to a 7-year extension.

He's been just fine over his last 15 games.  .275 with 3 HRs and 10 RBIs.  Plus, he's the Yankees' only viable Centerfielder.  Doesn't matter who comes back from the IL

I get that the BA isn't the greatest, but his BABIP is a big factor in that.  When you consider how much time he's missed, I'd say he's rounding into form.  Over his last 14 days he's slugging .619 & has an OPS well over .900.  He even stole a base on 2 tries so he must be feeling really good.  I'd say he's moving in the right direction and his numbers should only get better once Judge & Stanton return.

How does the EE trade affect Hicks, if any?

Not at all, as he doesn't play centerfield

No really?

Just seems like a lot of mouths to feed.

I mean Hicks is a .250ish hitter so he'll have runs of hitless ball. But he also walks a ton so he's always on base and can contribute even he's not on a hot run in that lineup.

Sitting again today. Mr. Hicks, let me introduce you to Mr. Waiver Wire. He’s been patiently waiting to meet you.

Two days in a row?  Must be in injury issue that has not been disclosed yet.
