Seriously considering it. Came in here to get a pulse. What's everyone else doing? I need the roster spot and I'm starting to wonder if he's gonna play again this season, and if he does does he produce even WR2 numbers. He hasn't done jack squat for the last month!

I'm trying to trade him if not cut him as we speak

Considering dropping him for Penny, obviously depends on team comp—he wasn’t as bad as people made him out to be, and he has a history of coming back from concussions quickly. I think a lot of people will drop him and want him back in a few weeks

Is he actually cuttable?

He was showing very little upside and a low floor to begin with, has bad matchups for the rest of the season, and who knows when he'll actually come back. IF he's able to return quickly, I still don't expect more than another decent game or two out of him.

I did this morning. Cam was sitting there on my WW and with a soft schedule down the stretch and Cooks hasn't done squat all season (one double digit game in standard) I was like....welp, time for you go bro.

The way I see it, there's no guarantee he even comes back this season. He's had a lot of concussions over his short career, and two in just the past month. And even if he does come back, what's his value ROS? The Rams schedule down the stretch not exactly QB/WR friendly. There are too many mouths to feed and Goff has regressed. Based on the first half of the season, he's not even Flex worthy to me.

Now, he probably will come back, and he could even pop off a game or two, but he won't be consistent.

Dropped him.

If there is something you want on the wire, don't worry about dropping him.

This could linger for a few weeks. Rams aren't that great in addition to too many mouths to feed. Emergence of Gerald Everett, etc. Also, if Cooks gets right by late-season, I don't trust him.

Picked him up off waivers in an auction keeper format.  This year might be a write-off but for those in long term keeper/dynasty leagues maybe he gets things figured out. Maybe he ends up on a different team where he can be a feature again.

My money is on him calling it a career while he still has some of his brain left, I imagine he’s struggling every day with basic living. He’s definitely had too many head injuries and probably can’t afford another. NFL is not a career where you retire and ride off into the sunset. It’s more like getting a life sentence with physical and mental torture. I’m happy for any player who can function normally after balling in the League.

I honestly hope he does and I have him on my team. I wish Sterling Shepard would do the same. Just enjoy family and life after football. Like you said he's probably really damaged right now and taking more is not worth it for his long-term health.

Josh Reynolds should be rostered in 12 teamers even with the bye if you need WR help. He got 8 targets last week

Totally agree. Kupp needs extra attention and Woods has to be game planned for, how much can any team roll towards Reynolds without leaving themselves vulnerable. He might be the answer I needed.

I agree that Reynolds is worth a stash if you need someone to replace Cooks’ production, but I doubt many owners were starting him confidently before the injury anyway and this offense isn’t reliable enough to support a third WR. He’ll be (at best) the same risky matchup flex that Cooks was imo

No news is not good news. Anybody heard anything? I can’t find anything.

I see a lot of requests asking if he is cuttable, pains me to say, but yes, it's not his year

Agreed. I let him go. The way he plays, I can't really trust him in my lineup anymore. He constantly lowers his head in anticipation of a hit, which obviously increases his chances of head injury.

I also dropped. Based on matchups i wouldn't play him until week 13 and he's impossible to trust anyway. Anything 10 team or fewer should have higher scoring wrs on the wire.

Out for this week and seeing another concussion specialist. At this point, I’m thinking of cutting him. It seems like it’s just a waiting game before he goes on IR at this point.

Definitely droppable. Even if he comes back and does what he was doing are you happy? Waiver wire WRs are more valuable

I posted before that I reluctantly cut him. His health is #1 concern. It's in his best interest to retire from the NFL. I like the player and wish him the best, but he needs to think about his life after football. He can't take any more blows to the head. Hopefully he has made enough money to be ok without football.
