Ans here I was thinking I was the only guy who loved Wheeler and Clevinger coming into the season. I salute you sir.

Why would you think that? Probably my two favorite pitchers versus ADP in the top 20. If I can’t nab an Ace, Clevinger+Wheeler is my favorite way to start a staff

Robles steals at least 40 bags.

Buxton finally puts it together, not stud worthy, but becomes a top 75 fantasy asset.

Betts puts up 120 runs and 120 rbs

Trout plays under 125 games

Vlad Jr ends up playing in under 80 MLB games this season

Hunter Strickland finishes the season a top 5 closer

Father time finally catches up to Mad Max and pitches under 150 innings this season.

Zunino becomes a top 5 fantasy catcher

and finally Jeff Mcneil finishes in the top 3 in BA in MLB and top 100 in rankings, and our hearts.

The new GM continues to surprise and Pete Alonso is the starting 1B from the get-go, leads the Mets in HRs with 38, and wins the NL ROY Award in a close race with Victor Robles.

Might’ve undersold! Nice call.

That I did since he's already at 30.  I had forgotten that I actually made a good bold prediction, especially since my actual fantasy season has not been good.  At least I can say I got something right I guess. 😀

I'm going to continue to roll with Alonso and say fantasy experts finally stop saying he's going to regress and/or to sell him within the next 30 days after the break and finally just admit that he's for real and one of the premiere power hitters in all of baseball already.

I sure hope not.  I just dropped him for McMahon. Lol

Its insane how much things change regardless of research.  No one would have ridiculed that move once McMahon looked like he’d be the starter.

Obviously it's hard to be able to fully go back and think as if it was Match 22 again, but I wouldn't have done that move regardless unless I desperately needed a 2B.  If you drafted Alonso, it was because you thought he was going to be good, and obviously nothing had happened yet then to make you think differently.

We all make what end up being awful moves though during every season. I know I have.  In the end, you just have to be like Taylor Swift and shake it off (yes, I went there). 😀

Adam Eaton plays in 150 games and has a 102/15/68/15 line leading off all season.

Inciarte leads the league with 122 runs and steals 32 bags finishing as a top 10 OF.

Buster Posey is the 4th ranked catcher at the end of the year in standard 5x5.

The Dodgers have 3 SPs finish in the top 20 SP ranks in standard 5x5 scoring. Beuhler, Stripling and Hill.

Ryan Pressley leads the Astros in saves.

Yes these are all guys I own. So what? A guy can hope right?

Adam Eaton final line: 151 games played, 103/15/49/15

You should have stopped at your first prediction!

It wasn't in the bold thread I but I did predict Sale would have a bad year and that the top 10 pitchers would be loaded with disappointments.

  • Matt Olson leads the Majors in HRs
  • Chris Sale's shoulder issues rear their head again and does not finish as a top 15 pitcher
  • Chris Paddack start for the Padres opening day

Was too low on Kepler

Damn, I was somehow way too low on Alonso.  Other than that and Robles not being even in sniffing distance of the NL ROY Award, pretty much nailed Pete Alonso's season.
