Terrible news.

Ouch. That is scary on a personal level (blood clots in your lungs are not good) and terrible as a team if they lose the C.

FOXBOROUGH — David Andrews was released from the hospital Monday night after the Patriots center was treated for blood clots in his lungs, a league source confirmed.

Andrews’s season could be in jeopardy because of the ailment, as first reported by the Athletic. Andrews has missed the Patriots’ last two practices after playing with the starters for most of the first half of New England’s preseason victory over the Panthers Thursday night.

A captain since 2017, Andrews has been a very durable player throughout his career and has started 46 of a possible 48 games over the last three seasons.

Just a tip, but if you’re in a league that uses team defenses you may want to go and grab NE if they’re on the wire. After Week 2, they’re literally startable until Week 7. I know it sucks to ever have to carry two defenses but after week 1 you won’t have to worry about it for awhile and prevents you from having to drop a couple bucks potentially on the wire every week for a new defense.

Considering AB just signed.

What would this team be like if Gronk comes back.   A Juggernaut?

Would be on par with the '07 team.

Yep, they're just the same ol' Chiefs they've always been 😂.  Too many Boston fans in this thread.

Can you get odds on a perfect season? I just seen 33 to 1 for reg season I wonder if AB moves the needle.

I’m somewhat happy. I think this is like getting Moss. But I hope this isn’t some permanent mental issue... CTE? One where this behavior continues.

Can’t wait for the Bellicheck press conference...

we do what is best for the football team

we have already covered that in the press release and there is no more

we have a game to play and we are focused on that

Watch Brady go out with 5000 / 50 to finish his GOAT resume.

I know that’s an extreme prediction, but there’s been crazier things to happen.

4800 / 40 is definitely within reason (not likely, but possible). I don’t think 5000/50 would be absolutely impossible.

5,000 and 50 is impossible lol he did that with Moss and an array of weapons much like this team but... that was 12 years ago at the peak of his prime...

The patriots should be banned from the NFL and all of their super bowl wins should be invalidated.
