I mentioned him earlier in the week via the sleeper thread, but Kevin Cron is back on the warpath again...3 bombs last night (7 RBI)...he has 7 HR in last 10 games now and carries a .351 BA on the young season with 9BB/14K...

You weren't lying.

Kevin Cron (ARI 3B AAA) is on fire... 5 HR in last 3 games. 9 HR in last 11 games. 77AB .377/.467/.896 7 2B 11HR 12BB 15K

Brendan McKay (SP,AA,TAMPA) - 5 innings, 0 earned, 1BB, 6Ks

Bringing his season line from 4 starts to:

2.41 ERA, 18.2 innings, 33Ks, 4BB

Absolutely love the K upside mixed with the outstanding command.

MacKenzie Gore (overshadowed by Mize yesterday) but wow: 4.1 IP 3H 1R 1BB 11K last night, up to 26+IP 15H 4ER 4BB 38K on season.

Have to think AA by June?

Just postulating a guess? He only had 60 Low-A innings last year and his pitch counts have not been exactly economical/consistent. His stuff is way too good for A ball, but he could iron out a few things before AA, it's still only April :)

Dylan Cease - 6 ip, 5h. 2er, 1bb, 11k. FB velo 94-99, offspeed stuff just fell off the table. Another month of starts like this and he's in Chicago I think. Only thing that might hold him back is his command.

Biggio 1 for 1 with Hr and 2BB’s.

That was actually game 2 of a doubleheader. In game 1 he was:

1 for 2 with a 2B and a BB (0 K’s)
