Aaron Rodgers 2019 Outlook

Says who? Did you think jones was going to score 4 in any game this year? This is the offense. It’s clear this is what his coach wants

Says common sense. What odds do I need to lay for you to bet Over 24.5 Jones Rush TDs

If the thought process was no Adams = bench Rodgers - you were right.

This CFL group of alternative options make him unstartable unless/until Adams returns.

Mike McCarthy = Air Coryell compared to this outfit.

If the Packers can stop wrecking people, things will get better. Also, Aaron Jones isn’t going to rush for 25+ TDs. I’ve lost 3 matchups by just a couple points in these Rodgers down weeks so I’m as salty as anybody, but there is a lot of bad luck. So many penalties putting the ball inside the 5 yard line for Jones to punch in. The only game the packers needed offense (vs. Eagles), Rodgers was awesome. Every other game they’ve gone up early and protected the lead.

Set and forget QB1

You got that part right. I drafted A-Rod and after the Denver game I traded Tevin Coleman for Kyler. I'm frustrated to lose TC after how he looked last night and having to play against him next week (@ WAS) but I can't compete with the trash games A-Rod is putting up.

It's going to be very interesting to see how Rodgers does this work with a completely different receiving core.  This may actually be a good thing as MVS and Geronimo were very inconsistent.  I mean Rodgers can't be any worse than he's been, right?  Right?

Worse probably not, much better than he's been with Adams, MVS etc out no. I actually have them losing this game 24-17 or around there, I don't see an explosion coming at least not this week.

Quick breakdown of the game:

Rodgers gets the snap

Great o-line blocking that gives him about 5 seconds to make a throw

"Why the hell would I take the easy checkdown to Aaron Jones??"

Holds the ball the entire time looking for a deep shot

Ends up throwing it away or takes a bad sack then looks very angry for the camera when it pans to him

Occasionally has a receiver drop the pass then looks very angry for the camera when it pans to him

Occasionally makes a nice pass for a first down or TD

rinse and repeat

That's basically been Rodgers for the last 3 seasons.

i was anxious about the game against Kansas City so maybe i could trade him after a big game against mahomes When he probably would have to throw a lot

but thats not happening anymore

Nice call getting the angry glare in there. So true.

Interesting, yes, but barely care anymore. I dropped him.

Whoever picks him up gets a discount double check.

Hahaha. True. But then they’ll also get 220 and 2.

Hopefully last week was the start of a strong run for Rodgers. As I’ve been saying the past several weeks, he has looked great all year, but the Packers just haven’t needed his heroics. Unfortunately we will likely get more of the same with the Packers taking on the Mahomes-less chiefs this weekend. Maybe, hopefully, they will want to make a statement in this prime time game and put up big points.

I didn't listen to the play by play on CBS today. What excuses were they making for the Teflon loser today?
