6/23 - GAME DAY THREAD

Well, unless Woodruff implodes at some point, I think he's already got this thanks to their 5-run 3rd inning explosion.

These are the same Tigers that shellacked Trevor Bauer.

To be fair the White Sox and Orioles have also shellacked him this year.

Omg Pete Alonso

Quite an opposite field blast there to set a new Mets rookie record (and further his NL rookie pre-All-Star break record).

I'm sure Cubs fans will be happy to see him leave after today, as that's the third time they've had to throw the ball back this series.

Even when he’s struggling, I appreciate JRam’s willingness to steal his 18th bag up 3 in the 8th. Nothing like a dude who wants to pad his stats.

I wanna see him hit one 700 feet at Coors. 🏔

The video of it would never hit Twitter because it would never come down...

My god Houston's offense is going to be terrifying when they get healthy.

My team is 0-19 right now. 0 for freaking 19.

The 21 year old Yordan Alvarez goes yard again. Understatement to say he's been impressive in his short time up.

The Red Sox bullpen is @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@.

You think they miss Craig Kimbrel ?

And in typical Woodruff fashion of late, he completely cruises through most of his start, but has one bad inning that keeps it from being a great start.

Still, he's likely to hold on for the win, so can't complain too much.  It would be nice if he could stop having one bad inning though...

Camargo with a 2 run pinch hit HR in the top of the 10th. Please not Luke Jackson again.

Mets broadcast showed deGrom wincing after throwing a 6th-inning pitch. He finished the inning but did not return for the 7th. Gary Cohen reading deGrom's lips after pitch: "I think he said ouch.''
