In an 8 team league I’d go DJ and then Gurley (I assume your have back to back picks since you are number 8). There is a lot more depth to pick from in an 8 team league so I’d be more inclined to take a chance on Gurley and his extreme upside that early as you know you will have good RB depth if he ends up faltering.

DJ will go higher than 8th target Mixon he will surely still be on the board. Avoid Gurley while you're at it dudes knee is badly damaged, likely will need surgery on it, plus he's old as well. And the Rams drafted their new star starting RB this year who will be on the field a lot.

Gurley is big isk early, and could sink a team, not only because of his health concerns but Rams might be leaning to lessening his workload, even if he is 100% fine, to preserve him.
