This is an extremely well put together team. You should easily win in 3's and FT% and you should consistently win in assists as well with the guards that you have and steals are a lock as well with guys like Isaac and Harden. Very well done. Can't imagine there being a better team in your league.

Thanks for the comment on mine.

Your team looks great but I'm not sure about rostering DJ and Dwight in 10 team, even with DDs as a category.

You could use more Assists (especially if WB isn't as high in assists on Hou) and Blocks (you don't have one dominant shot blocker).

KAT, Vooch and Bagley will be great in your format and I'm really high on Caris and Zach Collins this year

Qtip, nice team. I'm a roto guy, and actually don't know what DDs are, for shame...

You have some great pieces, but I'm not a fan of Wbrook, and Lowry has consistently had low FG%, so I might look to combine one of them in a package to get a stronger PG with solid %s, 3Ps and AST

Best of luck!

Man I wish punting was a better option in roto, makes things a lot more interesting, and strategic in putting together your draft targets

You've got great scoring, 3,s AST, REB, and FT%, as well as strong defense coming from your wings. You could stand to get more scoring from your wings

I don't really see how Lonzo fits into your build, so you could package him in a 2 for 1 to get stronger, maybe wait until December, and hope he gets a strong start to the year, which I think he will with Jrue handling the ball most of the time, and him playing lead against opposing benches

11 team, roto, 9-cat, 4-player 3-year keeper, yahoo - no punt

(I traded expiring keepers for picks around Dec last year, and got and extra 3rd round pick, and 2 4th rounders)

Conley/Bledsoe/Dejounte/(also got Wall for next year)
CJMcC/Shai/Herro
Luca/Otto/JRich
Lauri/Bam
KAT/Ayton/Zach

any advice on what stats I’ll need to pick up?
guys to trade away, or trade for?

cheers!

Agreed, punting changes things dramatically, although I have seen people soft punt in Roto and do well, especially in bigger and more competitive leagues.

Thanks for the feedback. I think Stls and Blks will be sneaky good with this team but not elite.

I really like Lonzo, especially if I don't care about his FG%/TO. He is very unique in his combo of Assists, 3s, Steals, Blocks from the guard spot and will also have decent rebounding #s. I have enough scoring to make up for any weaknesses there. Also, I'm fairly sure he'll start at PG with Jrue at the 2.

Interesting setting and really like your team!

High efficiency FG & FT (you can absorb Luka's %s and he should improve this year).

Potential for up to 6 20pt+ scorers and lots of 3pt shooters.

Good rebounds and potential for out of position assists from Bam/Kat/Jrich to help your PGs.

I think your biggest weakness might be Blocks and TOs.

Don't think you need to make any moves. Only guy I would try to move would be CJMC since he's more of an empty points guy (which you don't lack for) and you might be able to get a more complete player for him. Alternatively, Lauri would be an interesting trade target as well if you can get a top 40 player for him.

SF:(8)Warren
PF:(4)LMA
F:(6)Tobias
C:(2)Vucevic
C:(5)Bam
Uti:(9)Smart
BN:D.White, D.Powell, Time Lord

Many boring picks here. Not great in any cat but also not weak in any cat. This's ROTO league and I value efficiency. My team's scoring and FT% should be great but I passed bigs like Gobert/Capela so I've lost in blocks. Probably a wrong strategy cuz FT% can be balanced by some anchor like Gallo, Lou, etc. Got Time Lord as my last round flier/block specialist..I'm not even sure if he's getting enough minutes to produce. Or should I just soft-punt blocks?

12 team Yahoo! H2H, 15 Cats (FGM, FG%, FTM, FT%, 3PM, 3P%, DREB, OREB, AST, STLS, BLKS, A/TO, TO, PF) Snake Draft

  1. (6) Anthony Davis

  2. (19) Kemba Walker

  3. (30) Myles Turner

  4. (43) Buddy Hield

  5. (54) Jaren Jackson Jr.

  6. (67) Robert Covington

  8. (91) Dejounte Murray

  9. (102) Bogdan Bogdanovic

  10. (115) Tyler Herro

  11. (126) Darius Garland

I wasn't expecting AD to fall to the sixth and thus I wasn't prepared, I had everything thought to build around Jokic, who I thought was the "universal" 6th pick. I think I messed up. I started trying to punt assists and then I'm not sure what happened, but I think this year is gonna be long...

I had the 5th pick of a 10 team 8 category ESPN league. I spazzed out when the person before me picked Aldridge. I tried punting Assists, but I realize I actually have a good amount of assists. Let me know what you think and if I should make any moves!

PG: DeAngelo Russell

SG: James Harden

SF: Tobias Harris

PF: Kristaps

C : Vucevic

G: LaVine

F: Sabonis

UTL: Thomas Bryant

UTL: Brook Lopez

UTL: Dedmon

Bench: Marcus Smart, Rudy Gay, Hachimura

Notable free agents: Herro, Aminu, Cauley-Stein, Schroder, Redick, Tristan Thompson, Zach Collins

Anyone on my team you think I should trade?

I think you’re in better shape that you think. Playoff bound as long AD stays healthy. JJJ in 5th was great value. You have pretty good %’s, good points, boards, blocks. Overall solid team. Do you only pick 11 players?

Really like your team. Lots of value with Lavine/Love/Warren/Smart/Looney

I don't personally love Millsap or Danny Green and you may be able to do better in those spots.

Curious to see Turner this year next to Sabonis in Indiana, looked strong in preseason and got the Team USA experience

Yes, only 11 players per team, that makes the waiver wire very hot! Honestly I think our league is pretty weird, it's the only one like this I have seen around here, with 15 cat and 11 drafted players!

I'm a fan. You really nailed your draft sans the Turner pick in the top half of selections. I like Looney as a late flier as well, he is the starting C on a fast tempo team. If Love works out you'll be sitting prey. Good balance imo.
