Wouldnt the usage go to Dlo the most? then maybe Burcs, Poole, and Lee?

They may get the minutes and DLo definitely gets more usage. But this injury may cause the coach to use WCS more because he becomes a more valuable scorer in a team that has none.

His per 36 right now is 19.6 pts, 11.5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2.2 steals, 1 block without hurting you (no 3s obviously).  Any chance this guy gets some real burn this year?  Dude his solid in the pick and roll, is a good defender, and is only making like a million this year.  Definitely has an incentive to play all out vs others.

I doubt it right now. Seems like they're ready to tank to the max. He's got two years on his contract, so they could put him on limited minutes indefinitely to keep him healthy for next season since they'll have a better chance to compete with Steph & Klay coming back.

All conjecture at this point. I could be completely full of ****e.

I feel like they want to limit him potentially just to keep his value down so they can resign him for the low. I understand they are looking to develop Paschall or whatever but WCS is undeniably the Center they should develop/keep long term. I just hope they give him 25+ minutes a game ROS. I am honestly ok with him even as of right now, being my 4th Center..

Last 3 games he's averaged 25 minutes (2 min short of his minutes last season),8.3 rebounds, 1 steal, and 2.3 blocks. Last year he was at 8.4/1.2/0.6

I'd guess his blocks would eventually go down and his steals should hover around 1.1 to 1.2 very soon. Paschall plays more at the two forward spots, and the other centers are Spellman, Chriss, and Looney. Dropped Harris for WCS, as I need his rebounds and out of position steals (he'd be my 4th center as well after WCJr, JCollins, and LMA).

WCS was dropped last night in my league, debating on using a waiver claim on him or not. Centers are scarce on my wire and I need someone who gets big man stats. When Looney comes back from his injury do you guys think Willie's minutes will stick around 23-26 minutes? It would be basically a time share between them right? I wanna say that WCS has a better ROS outlook cause Looney can never stay healthy but you never know. Kerr loves Kevon for some reason, he was hyping him up in the offseason saying he wanted to give him extended minutes this year cause he had an improved shot, ect.

I am in a 12T and thinking of picking him up as a FA. I would definitely do it in a 14T

I'm in a 12 teamer as well. So you like his ROS outlook then? I liked him in Sacramento, he's starting to block shots now. It probably won't continue but at least he gets a lot of steals from the center position. Idk, after the D'Angelo news it just feels like GSW needs healthy bodies to play for them. Funny to say this but as long as WCS stays healthy, that alone might be able to give him enough value on that roster.

Looney is just a worse basketball player than WCS imo and like you said he is also injury prone. I'll be worried when I see Looney stay healthy for 10 games in a row.

For a second I read through what you wrote quickly and thought you said Looney is the "worse basketball player in the NBA" it made me chuckle a bit. I have a lot of good friends who are from the Bay Area and they always mock Kevon. Thanks for the laugh, your insight confirmed my decision to add him. Lol. If Looney actually played 10-12 games straight it would be a Christmas miracle.

Let’s not forget that Looney slipped in the NBA draft due to longterm injury concerns 👍🏻

I don't remember the last time that the Warriors had a starting center that wasn't really injury prone. Bogut, Ezeli, Cousins, Looney. Zaza was probably their most consistent center in the last 10 years or so.

WCS has quietly put up top 60 value in 9 cat H2H Yahoo! leagues over the last two weeks based off high FG% and sneaky stocks. I was skeptical but he’s blocked a shot in his last 8 games. For those who have owned him before know that he’s never been a shot blocker in his career up to this point, so it’s been a pleasant surprise. I probably jinxed him for their game tomorrow. Lol. But I hope he can keep it up. It sucks that GSW caps him at 26 minutes a night though. & That’ll probably stick with Looney returning next week. His box score stats don’t wow you, but he gets the job done. I love keeping him around as the 5th center on my roster, pretty good big man off the wire imo. The Dubs have nothing to play for, so they’re just gonna keep throwing WCS out there every night to produce.

I find the hype in the Looney thread pretty funny, as WCS is a far superior player and guys are saying that Looney will make him irrelevant. Putting up a really nice game against the magic today. Been watching his games and I think the biggest issue is he looks somewhat disengaged and plays with questionable hustle because of how bad the rest of the team. If the warriors had been healthy I think he really could have put together a nice season. I'm going to hold for another week or so but with Looney coming back and Chriss and Spellman playing somewhat OK this has the looks of a pretty nasty timeshare with not much upside.

well my Warriors forums that coined the nickname "Bad Porn" for Corey Maggette have started calling this guy "Willie Baukake Stain "

whilst not sure national media will pick this one up, it tells you all you need to know about how we feel about him

Don't worry, Willie.  I saw your 17/8/2/1/2 line in 24 minutes even if no one else did.  Don't listen to the naysayers big guy - your top 100 value will remain steady with this tanking Warriors squad.  I have the faith.
