Malik Beasley 2019-2020 Outlook

Recommended Posts

This is what you open a thread for...? Thanks for sharing.

Beasley is a hold for me. He's decent as a bench guy, and could be end up in a starting role this year already. He's proven he can be very valuable in that role. Great buy low dynasty target.

Outplaying Morris this game by a mile. 37minutes and counting. Don't think Morris even saw the 4th qtr. What's up?

Well they shipped out Napier so I have to assume Beasley is going to get some ballhandling duties barring a DLo trade.

He sort of reminds me of a young Wes Matthews with the way he plays. He's a points / 3's / steals type. If you have a need for that go for it, but there'll also be some empty scoring KCP like nights.

Wiggins hampers a lot of players around him with the types of shots he takes.

Seriously guys, what kind of stats can I expect from Beasley ROS?

when he started last year, he played about 31 minute and averaged 16, 3, and 2. He'll also chip in 2-3 threes and close to 1 steal.

That's about his ceiling I think, because Wiggins is dumb.

Remember that he's playing for a contract this summer. If he gets minutes and touches this dude could go ballistic.

If they dont get Russell, Beasley should be able to go off in Minnesota.

No, I think Gary Harris numbers when he was still Gary Harris. White's strength is stocks.

Yeah but they are young and suck.  Guess the Wolves will keep playing them then!  Also I'm not sure in what world Beasley is worth 10 mil a year.  He and Noel can be buddies talking about how they passed up silly money they'll never make.

Neither guy is very aggressive or talented offensively. I think Beasley is instantly the third option behind Towns and Wiggins. If Dlo comes in Wiggins goes out, so Beasley would still be the third option. Just my two cents.

Last year in 18 starts, he averaged 15.9/2.6/1.6/0.7/0.2 shooting 55/50(!)/93.8 in 31 minutes. There's definitely more to be seen here and I'd definitely add just to see what kind of role Minny gives him right out of the gates. Just pray DLo doesn't come to town before the trade deadline.
