SheikYerbuti 112 Posted November 10 Ok let's get a thread going on this guy. Possibly the Pelly's new starting 4, actually plays D and can hit the 3. Let's see if he sticks in the rotation.
n.mollov 36 Posted November 10 What makes him the new starting pf? He’s been in and out of the rotation all season. Anything different happen tonight?
fantasm 134 Posted November 10 only started cause lonzo was out and coach was trying new rotations he's gonna be up and down, if you can afford to stash him, go ahead but i'd take a wait and see approach

They won. If that means anything for his minutes or starting role, it can't be bad. In and out of the rotation is a given for anyone on the team not named Ingraham at this point until they start winning. two0six 143 Posted November 10 Lots of risk since Gentry loves to change rotations and Zion will probably cut his minutes in the future, but that being said Kenrich is a perfect glue guy in real life and actually translate well in fantasy with stocks + some boards and a couple dimes if given 20-25+ minutes. Kinda like a PJ Tucker.  if only hustle was a fantasy category then Kenny would be up there.

With Lonzo out, they moved Jrue to PG and moved in JJ to start at SG. Kenrich was brought in to replace Melli at PF, because Gentry wanted more defense. And it worked. There's a fairly good chance this sticks until Zion gets back. What can Kenrich do as a starter? He was a sneaky starter with a 1/1/1 in 3p/stls/blks toward the end of last season. He may not be as good as last night, but he is also a young dude in his second pro year, so me may also have improved his skills. Plus Favors is an injury risk. Worth a flier to see what happens. 2

PascalSiakam 3 Posted November 12 Nobody praised this guy today?  He did a pretty good job on rebounds.  I think he is well set for the pf position until Zion is back.

His minutes are inflated because Ingram is out too. I think let’s see what happens with Ingram’s MRI and when he gets back in the rotation. It’s such a mess at the moment. On another note, he played pretty well!

PascalSiakam 3 Posted November 12 (edited) His stats would have looked much prettier if he could pop 1-2 more 3 pts which would get him a double-double Edited November 12 by PascalSiakam
Lifschitz 1,968 Posted November 12 This guy is a really good defender, he was making Harden look really bad in the first half and he hustles a lot. if Ingram wasn’t around and the return of zion wasn’t looming I’d be all over him. Ingram comes back in and he goes back to being a 16 to 20 min guy offering little value.

I think even if Ingram comes back there is still value for Williams here as they will move one of Ingram or him downward to cover for the loss of Hart/Lonzo. FantasyMamba 32 Posted November 15 This guy has such a fantasy friendly game. With how many injuries Pelicans have right now I think he is a 12T own until this rotation gets sorted out. Still has 2 more games this week after tonight too

Hart has locked that down until now but I don't think he is so far above him impact wise that it can't change. Hart is also dealing with two separate injuries right now so we don't really know how long he is out for / if he is limited.
Mikhov 543 Posted November 15 1 hour ago, Fantasyscrub said: Any chance he sticks in the starting lineup? I like his game and considered picking him up, but with Ingram and Zion coming back his ROS seems a bit murky as a hold. Jrue is the only lock IMO, though Favors is gaining steam by just doing everything you want from your big man (vs Jah / Hayes).
Lifschitz 1,968 Posted November 15 Ingram and hart alone will kill his value not even zion, but he can be a good low end 1 1 1 guy even when they’re back, just don’t expect him to keep putting up double digit points 8 9 boards 3 assists 3 steals and 2 3s like he has the last three games. I think he’s an excellent short term streamer and then play it by ear after that.
atlantadynasty 543 Posted November 15 grab him for a couple of games and then move on. Don't over analyze everything. If you have someone to drop then he is a must own at this point or at least for the next couple of games
PascalSiakam 3 Posted November 15 Pelicans need his defense badly so I don’t think he will lose his starting job even with Zion comes back.  Also, considering the history of injury of favors, I will sit tight on Williams’ wagon and just enjoy the ride.
