stay_woke 1,081
Man just when I start to feel good about anything another injury. Still starting him but this is certainly a damper
jkendrick2 114
Tonight Minshew will throw 3 TD's to James Robinson will throw 400+ yards.....That's my Bold prediction for tonight.

Stafford for me this week
Sizzlebshu 99
With Chark out do we still like Minshew over someone like Rivers or Goff

I am asking more as a general question in here for how much we think the center and WR1 both being out hurts Minshew tonight
thefranchise3 99
This certainly puts a small damper on starting him, but I don't have much of a choice as my other option is Wentz. I think he runs for a score tonight as well.
rahuLL 112
Conley, Cole, Laviska, Eifert in the RZ. Dede is back too. He has receiving options. Not supremely worried, it's either him or Goff against Buff for me. Minshew will still sling the rock and get some rushing, it is miami afterall
PlayTheWaivers 1,886
Now after researching, I'm getting a gut feeling that he should go to the bench and this game might go on the under. Miami should put up points but he's definitely lost two key pieces on his offense. IDK if his other weapons really scare anyone that much...Miami is still an NFL defense. squidthunder 622
Tough call for people in a single QB league. I'm still rolling him out there in my 2QB league. I think he's Jax's best shot to win this game, and he's got a chip on his shoulder. Added with a prime time game - hopefully a shoot out

Leopard 140
In single QB leagues, I’m sure most leagues will have Stafford, Fitz, Tannehill, Trubisky, Wentz etc available. It would be an easy decision if we knew Golladay we going to play but I still like Minshew tonight. You can even make the case for Fitz since jags defense isn’t good either

rahuLL 112
i qb stream and minshews schedule is pretty tasty the next few weeks Miami, Cinci, Houston, Detroit then his Bye. Edited September 24, 2020 by rahuLL
FooserX 208
Unless you have one of the top 6 or 7 QB's - it's all a crap shoot. lol There are arguments to be made to start him, and arguments to be made to sit. As long as he doesn't bomb, I'm okay rolling him out. Seems like they aren't obligated to the run anymore now that Fournette isn't there.
battle2heaven 813
I was worried with Chark out but then I realized Chark only had a 12% target share through last two games so Minshew doesn't need to throw him the ball to be effective.

Walter330i 26
I think I may start Mr. Big Stache Energy over Wentz. He's been on fire.
Gootz 131
Chark has been ruled out of tonight's game. The Gardener has definitely been trimming everyone's hedges well so far this season, but it's worth noting that he'll be down 1 of his weapons. FWIW, I benched Watson for Gards, so I still have faith he'll put it down on the lowly Dolphins. Edited September 24, 2020 by Gootz
stigmatadiacory 20
I'm trying not to overthink things, but without having watched the Jags at all this year to see exactly how Chark is being used and how defenses are choosing to attack him, I just don't know what to expect from the offense without him, even if it is against Miami.
joebaker23 184
Minshew is playing for his job in JAX for the long term. He doesn't want the Jags to tank for Trevor. Fire him up.

A fair take. I am going to assume that Chark is getting plenty of attention but Minshew is going to the open guy- not forcing it to Chark. Chark is their deep play threat so he is most likely getting rolling safety coverage. Now, I imagine Chris Conley will be in Chark's shoes and Chris Conley is also a burner, and had an ok season last year. He could be 60-70% of Chark, but may not get the respect of the defense. This could mean Conley open for a long TD today.
