James Johnson 2019-2020 Outlook

One bad game after a month of very good production. It happens - I'm not panic dropping.

Love the line.

Worried about his minutes. Naz got more of a run but hoping JJ will get to 25 mins at least in the future.

Yup, I don't think any of us faithful dropped him.  And he rewarded.  Dude is so fun to have as an end-of-bench WW flier.  Adds in so many cats and as long as he gets 25 minutes or so, he'll drop some nice numbers.  Also helps that Reid can't really play heavy minutes and JJ is often the focal point of the offense (and defense) from the bench.  The Wolves need some veteran mentorship on the court anyway.

He was talked up by his coach too as great influence to his younger team mates. Also plays end of the games when winning is option. So, I think he will stick.

This guy still doesn't have C eligibility while having a higher % played at C then PJ Tucker smh.

Where do you see that info? I'm going to tweet Yahoo Fantasy Care.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/johnsja01.html (play-by-play) 31% Center position (PJ Tucker is at 30% center, which has dropped after the Roco acquisition)

Also this article literally says ..."Despite often being the tallest player in the lineup and manning the center position on defense, he has handled the ball in a pseudo-point guard role.

This guy is having a heckuva run.

Playing at third round value on a per 36

basis since joining Minnesota.

Further, he’s just on the cusp of being a per-36 2-2-2 guy as a Timberwolve.
