Trade for Ryu?

Recommended Posts

I want to get some input on what people think about Ryu for the next two years.

I have a chance to grab him for two first round rookie picks (only first year players out of college) and could really use another quality arm.

This is a 20 team full dynasty and id control Ryu for two years at 6m per (170m cap).

Thanks!

Unless you are convinced that you can win now, I'd pass and keep the picks.

I believe I am a few quality arms and some MI depth away

I'd go for it if you think you have a chance to win now. You're probably overpaying a bit and the price has never been higher for him but I still think it could be worth it.

Out of all the places Ryu could have went, Toronto was the worse landing spot,+ the injury history, I'd still pass, but I wouldn't blame you if you made the deal, I just wouldn't.

Win now.  Trade the picks which wont help you for at least 3 years minimum.  Top 30 SP dont grow on trees.  Dont be afraid of being in Toronto.  I mean Pearson pitches for Toronto and no one seems to be worried about him.  Ryu is very solid, and there will always be more prospects.  I would do the trade in a heartbeat.

I highly doubt you get any other arm anywhere near the top 60 for draft picks, especially in a 20 team league
