YOU HAVE MY ATTENTION

im not trying to be funny....but Gausman in SF is very interesting.  look at his K/9 last year.  still just 29 years old.  look at what odorizzi did last year.  gausman has the same k/9 and a better bb/9.  when it come to an SP6....ill be taking a risk on Gausman this year again

He basically ditched the Slider and became a 2 pitch pitcher. My issue with this is that if you are going all in 2 pitches as a starter. Both have to play up and his fastball has not despite the velocity.

Gausman's future may to become an elite RP here.  I'm sure they will give him a shot to start, i'm just skeptical it works when he only has 1 pitch that plays up. Especially if giants have an imagination what kinda RP he could become if the fastball gained ticks on his velo in short stints.

Of course this more the reason to take shots in deeper formats. Because an elite RP is not a bad outcome for fantasy if he gets to the back end of it.

Dinelson Lamet outperforms Chris Sale
Kevin Newman outperforms Garrett Hampson (is that bold?)

Aristedes Aquino... kind of keeps it going. Shocks the leagues of skeptics.
Julio Rodriguez gets called up, finishes top-10 in AL ROY voting
Spencer Howard is 2020's "Chris Paddack"

Will Smith finishes above Realmuto, Sanchez, Garver as the #1 catcher. Enters 2021 redrafts as a 5th-6th round pick

Bo Bichette accumulates more home runs + steals than Christian Yelich.
The Two Jordans (Lyles and Yamamoto) both finish as top-50 pitchers.
Luis Robert lashes 28 home runs, steals 24 bases ; Jo Adell is overmatched by big-league breaking stuff, spends much of year in TripleA.

The Tampa Bay Rays defeat the San Diego Padres in the World Series.

Lastly, the public finally starts to realize that Shohei Ohtani - with his ace-pitcher arsenal, Bryce-Harper-esque power, and shocking baserunning speed - is the single most talented baseball player to ever live.

I predict baseball uses the playoff baseballs which drops HR totals back to more normal levels. David Price stays in Boston and places top 3 in Cy Young with a 18-4 record. Rays win division and Yankees miss playoffs. Luis Robert wins ROY plus gets MVP votes that Trout wins yet again. Marlins don't finish last in their division. Pirates do finish last in theirs.

Is that a shot at Yelich or praise for Bichette?

Exactly what I've been thinking since the Giants signed him

I am curious to see if there will be a reduction in HRs this year and if so how many.

Is 2020 the Year of the Pitcher and baseballs stay in the park for the most part?

Moreso praise for Bichette. I don't quite understand why Tatis and Bichette are so far apart in ADP, Bichette has bigtime superstar potential in his own right. I don't have a single share of him anywhere and it really hurts.

That truly is bold, I can see a nice year but the 25 home runs would be miraculous

Let me add another spicy one to the list

sandy Alcántara finishes as a top 10 SP

Love it, I've been trying to buy Sandy everywhere to no avail. He was a sneaky stud last year, for stretches. And it's not like the raw stuff is lacking. I think he is being cloaked by being a Marlin; if he was the Red Sox projected SP4 everyone would be freaking out him.

Cloaked in sadness?

and don’t be so hard on the BoSox fans, they wouldn’t scare him away.

Chris Paddack NL CY Young... Y. Darvish runner up, M. Soroka 3'rd

Tyler Glasnow AL CY Young... L. Severino runner up, F. Montas 3'rd
