Bryant or Alonso? WHIR

Recommended Posts

Who would you rather have in a H2H Cats league with OPS added?  Keep 6 MLB players every season, no limits

You're soon to be former Cub 3B he's gonna get traded any day now. His numbers will still remain the usual.

Alonso...If Bryant gets traded , getting out of Wrigley should lower #'s...

Maybe, I'm not so sure.

Wrigley has the biggest park factor extremes. Meaning, depending if the wind blows in or out.

Last year, Wrigley ranked 22nd in run park index, at .931.

That means it played 7% under average, a slight pitchers park last year.

Career wise, his home/road splits are rather close, considering most guys have better home numbers, because of comfort level.

Home ops .921

Road ops .881

That road ops will play anywhere.

My current keepers are Rizzo, Altuve, Lindor, Vlad Jr. Bryant, and Strasburg

Given your roster, probably keep Bryant for your OF

I’d go with Alonso. Do you have a CI spot you can slide him in? I think he has far more upside than Bryant and just as safe of a floor even though his track record is smaller.

Alonso’s potential of carrying you in power cats is too huge to pass. Concerned with Bryant’s health and lack of production last year. I would go with Alonso.

help?

Lack of production?

.903 ops

108 runs

31 hrs

To me it's a push. Probably lean pete if i had to choose. But i learned Kris here, because he has Rizzo, and virtually no OF.

But all this talk of a 28 year old being done, and no production, is fake news.

I love pete. But to expect him to repeat his 30% hr/fb ratio is alot to ask. He never had that high in minors.
