No one will pick him up, he will be officially a FA as of 4pm EST today. Anyone who picks him up via waiver is liable for his contract's injury clause in 2021 for $8m. That was the clause that was stifling any trade negotiations.

LongBalls 1,193
Chiefs make absolute sense given championship aspirations and a lack of depth in the backfield. As noted, they were also in on Fournette. I assume Bell will be looking for run on a contender, or at least competitive, team. 1
DiddleThatKitty 71
Bell is still under 30. Still has 2-3 years of elite ability. Pitt, KC, possibly TB would all be able to get him back to the old bell.

No team except the Jets wanted him prior to 2019, and now even they have moved on. If Bell does sign somewhere, it will be the team's choice, not his. Beggars cannot be choosers. There will be no bidding war. And in the unlikely event Bell does sign, he will still be unproductive. He is only a shell of the player he once was. So, conspiracy theory, @SharkSwimmer is really Adam Gase (😱!!) and the only reason he cut Bell is to look good in these Forums, but now that it's backfired he's smearing Bell in the Forums. Get back to coaching, coach!! Kidding Shark, I like your analysis ... most of the time ...... 😂

The Steelers are probably second only to the Pats in knowing just when to cut bait on these bums. Is anyone worried here about any of their RB's potentially being hurt by a signing? The Bears are somehow 4-1 but David Montgomery again looks like he's running in quicksand and they have no depth. I could see Nagy bringing him in for a pass catching role, he's probably still better than Montgomery in that regard and it limits the amount of touches for Montgomery, can't imagine the Bears want him handing this much of a workload when they don't have a capable backup on the roster. Yes very concerned where Bell ends up...

Spyplane 1,581
Price influences demand. People who are saying "only one team wanted him in 2019" should pump the breaks and ask if emotion is baked into there assertion. Otherwise, I have a $10,000 Bud Light with your name on it.

As for Gase, we all rip on him, and rightly so. But I would gladly trade careers with him. He has made millions and millions of dollars and he is the head coach of a team in the highest league of the best sport in the world.
