Idk if this counts but when Michael Beasley got to the knicks 2 years ago he went from scrub to a 17 ppg player.

I thought this was for Donyell Marshall. Another Donnie Nelson special.

In 2003 he sucked as a bull and then he suddenly became a 2nd rounder after traded to Toronto. Hit a bunch of 3’s and grabbed a ton of boards. Getting stocks like James Johnson. A better version of RoCo with good FG%. Would’ve been a perfect stretch 5 in today’s nba.

I went back and checked. Ricky Buckets and Sessions were both on my chip team in 2007.

And Sessions and playground legend Rafer Alston gave me a chip in 2008.

Great thread. Brings back so many memories.

I'll throw out Nikola Pekovic in the '11-'12 lockout season. Came out of nowhere to routinely put up 20-10 games on a regular basis that year. Helped my team to a chip with some help from perennial silly season specialist JJ Barea..

Pek for sure. Came out of nowhere.

If only Superman hadn't exploded that nuke to release him from 2-dimensional space prison.

Brevin Knight ranked #27 overall in 8-cat from March 1 to the end of the 2005 season.

Last years Elfrid Payton with that 5 or 6 game Triple Double streak comes to mind. But he can always be a solid contributor when given the time, the same with Larry Nance.

For this year I hope for Malik Beasley continueing to crush as well as Christian Wood (since the Trade Deadline).

Jordan McRae could be coming into that category after the buyout, depends on what the Pistons are doing when Brown is healthy again.

This dude was great back half of 12/13. At this time one of the few big man who shoots threes. Got you points, threes, rebounds, blocks and even a good amound of assists for a big man not named Gasol at this time. Somehow carried my team at least into the playoffs.

I remember the season after all-star, Jason Kidd decided to let a kid played guard-forward. Nobody could even come close to say his name. The legendary Rotoworld Forums decided to call him...”The Alphabet”. Someone even said it’s like a smashed up keyboard of a name.

He went on and won me the Ship.

On his way to becomes in rare company of back-to-back MVP of the league.

Speaking of Millwaukee: There was this machine named Larry Sanders in season 12/13. Had a tripdub with blocks and won you this cat nearly alone every week. Had this stupid club incident looking like he's ice skating his way into a fight. Plus he is the player with the biggest thread on RW - this was insanity.
