Dynasty trade WHIR

Recommended Posts

5 x 5 roto dynasty

1) JD Martinez and Lance Lynn

2) Kris Bryant and Robbie Ray

Recent stats are definitely in 1's favour but age is in 2's

Do you think Ray can get his ERA down at all? and can Lynn come close to repeating last season?

Which side would you take?

Thanks!

Rather own just windy city all by himself, the other player can be traded for more offense.

Jeezus...... 🙄

This is a tough one for me. JD is a much better fantasy player than Bryant, but Bryant is four years younger and has 3B eligibility. As to your two questions, I think ‘no’ to both.

I think I’d lean to JD unless you’re comfortable with the power in the rest of your lineup, then I’d go Bryant and buy the four years.

I’d much rather depend on Bryant at 3B than Donaldson.  I’d do it.

Update: I can change Lynn out for Hendricks if i want so Ray would be a much bigger upgrade now in Ks if its for Hendricks instead of Lynn.

JD and Hendricks for

Bryant and Ray

If you have a chance at a championship this year, keep JD. He's declining but not enough to where this year Bryant is equal to him - JD is still more complete right now. Plus he can DH it up and still be a top 20 hitter at least through 2021 in my view.

If you are looking toward the future take Bryant. This would be much easier if Bryant wasn't showing signs of stagnating - but he just hasn't taken off like we thought in 2016. His metrics are all kinda meh right now and in many ways he's regressed from his MVP season. He's still young though so he could still shoot back up.

Help with mine?
