Uhh... Rodgers... your time in GB is ending soon. Going with the Mahomes sit a year formula.

Considering that the most favorable possible comparison you can make for Love is Favre, I like the continuity pick.

i don't hate that pick. ideally Rodgers would mentor him and be very good for another couple seasons and he can come along slowly. you know Rodgers is going to be a total dick about the whole thing though.

I think GB trading up and drafting any QB before the 4th round has got to piss off Rodgers.

The future, Mr. Gettes.

Not all QBs play until they're 50.

Do you want Rodgers to leave for the Pats? This is how you encourage Rodgers to leave for the Pats.

yeah. this is true. he's always been a bit of a "chip on your shoulder" kind of guy. i think it makes sense as a long term strat to draft Love here but the on-the-ground politics are definitely going to make things....uncomfortable.

Can’t wait for Seattle take someone projected to go in the 3rd round.

And Brady is something like 42 or 43 and still going to SB's.

I'm sure he's going to react reasonably to the Packers taking a QB in the first as opposed to a piece that could help him win a SB in the next 2 years.

LOL.

I think for some reason y'all think Brady is a new normal instead of the mutant ubermench that he is.

Ok, flame away.

I’ll just going to say it. Rodgers was a great QB, is a good QB. But the media made him into a God-like figure have made him overrated to me for years. Years.

I'm not going to flame.  I am going to say that last year Aaron Jones shouldered a lot more of the load than is typical of Packers RBs and it seemed to suit Rodgers and the team well.

I think he was excellent, and then he got hurt a few times, and now he's kind of more of a "save it for when you need it" kind of guy, and next stop is game manager and then retirement for most QB career arcs.
