I don’t usually like rookie RBs but damnit I love CEH. Gonna take him in the second round for real

It's basically the perfect combination of skill set, situation and need.

So you know Reed is gonna mess with it and put him in a timeshare.

Reid will give him 3 down reps if he can hold up in all phases of the game.

Brett Favre was 36 getting ready to turn 37 in October when they drafted Aaron Rogers late in the 1st round.

Aaron Rogers is 36 getting ready to turn 37 in December and now they drafted Jordan Love late in the 1st round

Was being a little tongue in cheek given the Chiefs RB situations of year's passed.

Guess CEH is gonna be a top 5 or 6 back this year

Aggressive, but sure, possible.

With Mahones throwing to him and Hill and Kelce clearing lanes for him, it's basically the rich man's Ekeler scenario minus MGIII.

The entire draft:

"Congrats on getting picked by X in the 1st round. What would your deceased father think of this accomplishment?"

Packers taking a QB in RD1 wouldn't upset me....but this wasn't the year for it and Jordan Love certainly isn't the prospect for it. Due to the extension(one they didn't have to give at the time) to Rodgers, the earliest that Love will get a legit chance at starting is likely 2023. No seriously, look at the cap hits for Rodgers over the next few years....you think GB will eat that money and get rid of him? Hell no. Why on earth would you waste a 1st rd pick on a QB who won't get his chance until likely yr4 of his rookie deal, completely nullifying the advantage and value of having a QB on their rookie deal? Just a horrendous decision from an evaluation standpoint and process standpoint

Gutekunst trying way too hard at trying to be like his mentor Ted Thompson when he drafted Rodgers, but has failed miserably. Should be fired since he hasn't shown to be a good evaluator of talent thus far in his first few drafts, but a pick like this will allow him to stake by for a few years. Disgusting

I made a quick summary per position:

Pick - Team - Name - Position - College
1    Cincinnati Bengals    Joe Burrow    QB    LSU
5    Miami Dolphins    Tua Tagovailoa    QB    Alabama
6    Los Angeles Chargers    Justin Herbert    QB    Oregon
26    Green Bay Packers (from Texans via Dolphins)    Jordan Love    QB    Utah State

Burrow is generally expected to be an immediate difference maker; Tua and Herbert certainly have some questions. Love should be a long-term project.

Running Backs:
32    Kansas City Chiefs    Clyde Edwards-Helaire    RB    LSU

Definitely a strong asset for the Chiefs game. Not sure if this is a great pick for fantasy.

Wide Receivers:
12    Las Vegas Raiders    Henry Ruggs III    WR    Alabama
15    Denver Broncos    Jerry Jeudy    WR    Alabama
17    Dallas Cowboys    CeeDee Lamb    WR    Oklahoma
21    Philadelphia Eagles    Jalen Reagor    WR    TCU
22    Minnesota Vikings (from Bills)    Justin Jefferson    WR    LSU
25    San Francisco 49ers (from Vikings) Minnesota Vikings    Brandon Aiyuk    WR    Arizona State

Some great picks here for Dynasty teams. Ruggs could probably also be productive in his rookie season for the Raiders; I thnk it's anyone's guess what's going to happen with Reagor at the Eagles as they desperately need help, but not sure if he's the one.

For those of us playing IDP:

pick    team    name    position    College
3    Detroit Lions    Jeff Okudah    CB    Ohio State
9    Jacksonville Jaguars    C.J. Henderson    CB    Florida
16    Atlanta Falcons    A.J. Terrell    CB    Clemson
19    Las Vegas Raiders (from Bears)    Damon Arnette    CB    Ohio State
30    Miami Dolphins (from Packers)    Noah Igbinoghene    CB    Auburn
31    Minnesota Vikings (from 49ers)    Jeff Gladney    CB    TCU

Okudah should be a game changer in Detroit; Gladney looks good in Minnesota. Not sure what the Falcons were thinking.

2    Washington Redskins    Chase Young    DE    Ohio State
7    Carolina Panthers    Derrick Brown    DT    Auburn
14    San Francisco 49ers (from Buccaneers)    Javon Kinlaw    DT    South Carolina

Awesomeness all around. Three very solid picks.

8    Arizona Cardinals    Isaiah Simmons    LB    Clemson
20    Jacksonville Jaguars (from Rams)    K'Lavon Chaisson    OLB    LSU
23    Los Angeles Chargers (from Patriots)    Kenneth Murray    LB    Oklahoma
27    Seattle Seahawks    Jordyn Brooks    LB    Texas Tech
28    Baltimore Ravens    Patrick Queen    LB    LSU

Great selection of LBs here, and we'll simply ignore Seattle who apparently thought they were picking in the third round.

He's perfect for what the Titans do.  I live in GA and watched them a lot.  As a pass blocker he needs some work but in terms of run blocking he's a people mover.

They were looking for a combination of speed & separation & felt they had to take him, I guess. His skill set reads a lot like DeSean Jackson, who could be huge in Reagor's development.

Burrow is the only good QB...

I love that Raiders honored AL Davis with the Ruggs pick

Love will need at least four years on the clipboard with that s---y field vision so maybe it all works out for GB

He's an extremely confident dude, I think in their wildest dreams they see another Favre.

More realistic best case scenario is probably Cutler.

I was envisioning CEH in Tampa.

Now that he's off the board, if you were to put one of the top 4 backs left (Swift, Taylor, Dobbins or Akers) on the Bucs, who is your best fit pick for fantasy purposes?

Swift would be my pick.

Better be someone that can pass protect or they will never see the field.

I’d be very surprised if Tampa didn’t pick Swift if he’s still on the board.
