MrPositive 876
Goal line thing (JJ Watt) and no catches seems like a weird 1 game anomaly. The dude is the TRUTH on those cuts and agility. Edited September 11, 2020 by MrPositive

The dude is the TRUTH on those cuts. Houston just made some really great plays at the goal line, I don't think it mattered who was getting those carries, would have gotten stuffed either way IMO. And I'm hoping they get him going more in the passing game once he gets more comfortable in the offense, I wasn't really expecting him to get all that work in his first NFL game. The most important thing is this dude passed the eye test...he's gonna be good!

The dude is the TRUTH on those cuts. Yeah he did a couple sideways jump cuts that were sick. I can't wait to see how many routes he ran, Mahommes was looking his way frequently. I can't wait until they start getting a few screens his way.

n4sa 684
Wow, so glad I jumped on him in auction draft. I know it says he had 5.5 ypc tonight but it really was more like 7 after getting stuffed at the GL that many times. Exciting player to watch for sure.
Guwop 802
jj watt took away a few touchdowns but outside of that signs are pointing up
kp96 688
He looks really hard to tackle too. Broke so many of them. Low center of gravity, lot of power....arm tackles aren't going to work well against him. The biggest worry I actually had was that Darrel Williams was gonna be the goal line back. Clearly not the case. Plus, Darrel looked very pedestrian tonight compared to CEH. Nothing to fear from a workload perspective anymore.
stigmatadiacory 20
He was putting on a show all night long, but there was one carry in particular where he strung together a couple of lightning quick jukes that looked like some Madden X-Factor ****.
dsrich 990
An example of, if you didn’t see the game, you would clearly be happy but if you did, you would be happy but also disappointed. Clearly a talented player and JJ Watt made all pro plays that quite literally singlehandedly stopped 2 additional scores. Pretty remarkable.

Those goal lines would have been tough for anyone. Way too much penetration which forced CEH to make cuts behind the line of scrimmage.
dudewithabadcat 1,078
Best part - he didn't get any good looks from Mahomes out of the backfield. Add that to the mix....oh baby....I might send my solo stove back and get that 5 hundo back...cause CEH is gonna keep me warm at night

cheezor42 531
Dude was flat out elusive in every way and looked right at home in this offense....and they had the training wheels on.....just imagine
dudewithabadcat 1,078
Bonus...Darrel Williams looked pedestrian.
RingMyBell 426
I don't have any shares, but he should improve in all facets moving forward.
SadFaceHappy 2,049
So glad I waited until after the game to read the last 3 pages. Exactly as expected. CEH? Also exactly as expected. He's the guy, no question. Receptions will come. Game flow didn't call for it tonight
OmegaRed88 644
Stoked with this guy. Looked every part of what I expected. Pissed about that goal line garbage. KC got blown up every time. Maybe get him on the edge and not run at the All pro defender? Gonna be sick to lose by < 6 points this week.

That 3rd down catch where he ran right into the defender and was tackled immediately was incredibly pedestrian. It was so unimpressive I laughed.
JE7HorseGod 2,601
Reid looked like he was giving him every opportunity at the touchdown and since the game was a runaway it didn't matter if he scored or not, and everyone in the stadium knew it. They've definitely found their feature back.

CEH is mini Barkley in a high octane offense. I'm chubbing up...gonna have to log off. Edited September 11, 2020 by dudewithabadcat
Eaglesflyhigh11 450
Clyde "Chunks" Edwards-Helaire. Boy was ripping those chunks off with ease

And in a more competitive game, he's going to get the rock in myriad ways
dudewithabadcat 1,078
Important distinction we are going to have to make moving forward. Is CEH more like a bigger version of Darwin Thompson or is CEH a smaller version of Saquon Barkley?
