Yeah I am pretty concerned too. Herbert has only faced 1 tough defense so far and that was Tampa's. Kid was totally destroyed by them... 190 passing yards, 0 td 2 int... Wait. What's that? T

I can name 10 reasons why he won't be a top 10 QB.

Aaron Rodgers

Cam Newton

Kyler Murray

Russell Wilson

Tom Brady

Patrick Maholmes

Joshua Allen

Ben Roethlisberger

Lamar Jackson

Teddy Bridgewater/Deshaun Watson/Matt Ryan/Matt Stafford

Tannehill as well.

I wouldn’t take Cam (a lot worse weapons and better defense), Brady, Ben (tougher schedule and has a good defense for game script), or any at the bottom over Herbert.

Just my opinion though

Matt Ryan? In this economy?

From this list, the only QBs who can throw it 60 yards like Herbert can are Maholmes, Rodgers, Watson, and Wilson.  Let that sink in.

Cam runs a lot though. Those running yards / TDs are just gold in fantasy.

I take it you’ve never seen a Josh Allen game (or highlight).

As a Bears fan, it makes me sad to see a guy like this compared to someone the Bears picked in Trubisky. In the 3 years that dude was given to prove himself, I NEVER saw the play out of him as I do Herbert. This kid just seems to have the "it" factor. He's made more long throws downfield in 4 games than Trubisky has in 2+ seasons. What's most impressed me about Herbert is the wacky offseason he had to deal with and he still looks like he belongs out there. Impressive to say the least.

I have Herbert ranked 9th or 10th. Depending where Brady and Watson finish the season.

Really can't overstate how freakin impressive he has been.

Calmly has come out and played right with Mahomes/Brady/Brees in his first 3 of his 4 starts...while pumping great fantasy numbers against top defenses.

Now he gets a BYE to continue his on-the-fly development, knowing he is the no doubt starter. Also should get his starting tackles back for sure. I think we will start seeing him use his legs more too, guy has off the charts athletic traits--esp for someone his size. It all adds up to monstrous upside with the most favorable schedule ROS for a QB.

He's been great in real life and fantasy, Williams and Keenan should be healthy, they're coming off a bye, at home against a bad Jax team. Literally everything points to him going off. So expect 12 points.

Jacksonville has to hold up their end of the bargain and keep up offensively.

I saw his first game. I started him immediately and nothing has changed. This guy is a future superstar with a very high ceiling. Ffs a third of the chargers roster is injured and hes still putting up 20 fanpoints a week as a standard. He had 180 yards and 3 td's in the first half a week or 2 ago. Drink the koolaid. I just might trade away Murray so this dude dont rot on my bench. (I picked him up in both of my leagues)
