Na his role is pretty solidified. He will get his 3-4 manufactured looks a game plus a goal line look and whatever else regardless of what middling talents at WR2/3 the titans trot out.

Jonnu Smith: As pointed out by my podcast co-host Kyle Yates, you need to take a look at the comparison between Smith and Mark Andrews:

Player Tgts Rec Yds TD PPR Pts
Smith 27 18 221 5 70.1
Andrews 29 18 222 5 70.2

Jonnu has played one less game if I'm not mistaken.

injury looks bad ?

I didn't see it, but I read that he was doing sprints on the sidelines afterwards, so it sounds like it's not too bad.

Haven’t heard anything. Probably won’t know more till tomorrow or Tuesday.

I read Smith put his helmet back in and ran some sprints and then was shut down by trainers. He probably doesn’t practice all week and is a game time decision. At 5-0 I doubt they risk him if he’s not pretty close to 100%.

Said potentially a high ankle sprain.

This thud was overdue (albeit injury...) the td pace was unsustainable with the target share and yardage. Firkser looks like a good get for you Jonnu owners.

High Ankle Sprain does not = sprinting on the sideline during the game testing it before being ruled out

misses 1 game worst case

Christian McCaffrey would beg to differ, he ran for a td with the injury, but then subbed himself out cause he felt it dampening his ability to run.  Swelling doesn’t set in for the first 2-4 hours generally

Might lower his outlook ROS if firkser produces. He was already leading things before Jonnu got hurt

“Minor” ankle sprain according to Schefter.

Expected to be questionable for Sunday.

People keep saying this but it's not true. Guys can run through the pain with some tape and adrenaline for a few minutes after to upwards of an hour after, even if it's a high ankle sprain. The complete immobility doesn't happen till hours later in most cases when it swells up like a balloon, then you're out for 4-6 weeks if not more.
