Longtime lurker and Steelers fan, but I've been watching Claypool closely since the rave reviews started coming out of camp, so I'm going to wade into this debate. I think this take is pretty reasonab

When Jimmy watches Chase catch 1 pass for -2 yards.

And the loser here is Aaron Rodgers.  I was wondering what Rodgers must be thinking, here is an historically deep and freakishly talented rookie WR class....and Green Bay drafted a backup QB and a 3rd

Gonna fire him up as a desperation FLEX - need some upside.

Pretty sure Humphries is the nickel corner now so he will match up with JuJu.  Dionte is gonna see mostly Peters and Jimmy Smith has not practiced this week.

Hopefully this will give Claypool some opportunities to make some plays.

Doesn't need to be desperation. He's an every week starter. They're way off on him. Last week was an anomoly. He's gonna get a boom play or two this week. Book it.

He's the favorite to lead the Steelers in Receiving today according to Vegas

I’m surprised by that. Humphrey on one side, Peters on the other. Feels like a juju game over the middle of the field.

I’ve been seeing Juju lined up more outside than inside, but I may be wrong

Juju runs majority of his routes in the slot and that is where Humphries plays.  He has the worst matchup on paper.

Ya Humphrey is a great slot cover corner totally overlooked that until I saw your post.

How quickly we forget our college years...

I personally blame the alcohol when that happens to me.

And that, gentlemen, is probably where the comparisons between me and a 6’-4”, 240lb stud NFL receiver start and end.
