Certainly looked that way.

Fingers crossed he's not looking at missing more than a couple games.

Carson’s as tough as they come.  If anyone can put this in the rearview and come back strong it’s him.  Hoping for the best here

Being a Seattle fan I’m actually pretty worried about him being injured this early into the season. Let’s all hope for the best.

Yep. Definitely intentional, hopefully he gets suspended and fined.

I didn’t watch the game but looking at play by play it seems like he got hurt, then Homer got a carry. Then they scored a few plays later. If that’s actually what happened, why was Homer first in and not Hyde?

Wow - a freak injury occurred from him being tackled. Not a hamstring, not something from just running. But he got tackled awkwardly and twisted his body.

Please kindly escort yourself out for predicting a random injury. You are the worst kind of fantasy player. I hate you showboating "haha told you he'd get injured on an awkward tackle. He is so injury prone since his knee got twisted haha I knew this was gonna happen".

Trash can.

I didnt say that, I said with his running style he is more likely to get injured given his history. It was a dirty play, and its not excusable, but he did get hurt and so many players didnt want to believe that it would be possible. No showboating here, but I'll take your constructive criticism to heart next time I start him

This injury wasn’t even caused by his running style though. He was already wrapped up and tackled when it happened

Going to go out on a limb and lay this one on you all.....Chris Carson will not be injured in the year of everything terrible 2020.  Chris Carson will have soft hands.  Chris Carson will continue to run recklessly with bad intentions.  Chris Carson will ball.  Chris Carson will beast.

See but the thing is... no try to keep up ... nothing to do with his running style here. He was down and got twisted by a dirty opponent. So there's that.

You are extremely daft. This could have happened to Gore. This could have happened to Russell Wilson. This could have happened to Eric Ebron.

This has nothing to do with him being a bruiser. This was a trash play by a guy who deserves to be suspended.

Has absolutely nothing to do with Carson being a bruiser. It's a bad tackle that should have never have happened. Just admit you're wrong trying to predict an injury based on a guys "running style".

You are wrong. Own up to it like a man.

Im not saying it wasnt unfortunate or a dirty play, but even though he hasnt missed games in his career that doesnt mean he hasnt been injury prone. Look at how many guys who have been hit awkwardly, or twisted something and bounced up and continued the game. He's torn his ACL before, broken many bones before, and if anything comes up he has had a history to not play through it. Thats why I compare his running style because with how physical he is, things can happen that his body isnt prepared for. The play was dirty, but you cant say that you havent seen worse and guys have been fine before

Could be bc they were in hurry-up... down a score with 2-3 minutes left.

Welcome to my block list. You have 0 people agreeing with you. I don't need input from people who double down on terrible takes. If you can't own up to being wrong - you don't deserve to be heard.

So him hurting himself midseason last year was because someone targetted his hip or was that because of his weak lower body strength and endurance. Say what you want, I wish him well and a quick recovery, you never want to see this stuff happen. Fantasy aside.

If James connor went down on a play like this or David Johnson this would not be said.

You're just going to keep doubling down on this bs, aren't you? Carson isn't made of tissue paper. Is was a fluke play. He actually did get up and was walking on the sideline, but that apparently doesn't mean much to you.

Moving on...

Apparently post-game Carroll said it was a knee sprain. What is the typical timeline for a running back coming back from a sprain? 2-3 weeks sound realistic? If that’s the case, this would be a huge break for Carson and his owners. Play looked terrible

Things happen, im saying the severity of the injury could have been a factor of the past injuries he has suffered on his lower body

No idea until we know the severity. Sounds like he avoided a season ending injury, but probably a multiple week absence. With the week 6 bye, maybe week 7 is a realistic expectation.
