Not even close for me. I would need more than that just for Nolan.

Also I would be very insulted by the idea of having Means dumped on me. The guy won't help you much regards to wins, QS, and Ks and he kills your whip and era.

You already got a stud 3B in Suarez keep him, move you're other two players for more bench offense. You need more of that.

Good lord no.  Why are you even considering getting rid of Suarez?  You don't need Arendo if you own Suerez.

Suarez had a career year, like Alonso, Marte, Rendon.

I get, trade while value is highest.

Career BA

.295 to .265 not close

Suarez had a unsustainable 29.5% hr/fb ratio last year. 18.5 career norm.

Try Suarez and Lamet for him.

You saying Suarez and Lamet for Arenado only? Or with Hendricks still included on his end?

The owner of Arenado is seeking SP's which is why I was sending Woodruff and Means. I could take or leave Means but he was the runner up ROY with solid #'s depsite the likely regression this year.

Hendricks would, on paper, lock up my RP slot.

You hit the nail on the head with the sell on Suarez.

Suarez IS the real deal.  Do not trade him under any circumstance.  Players can change their swings and approaches and progress in their careers.  It's called progress, growth or even a breakout.  So no he isn't going to turn into a pumpkin all of a sudden.  This regression stuff is what they said about JD Martinez his first year of his change too.  Don't buy into it.  Players are not cold, unchanging stats based on stuff stretching al the way back to the minor leagues.  They are human and have the capacity to grow and change.

Nobody said they are pumkins.

Hes a legit 30 hr guy.

But anyone who expects 49 hrs again, is living in la la land.

This year yes, but he will hit 40 plus in regular years: and who is to say Arenado keeps it up when the Rox deal him?

Arenado has a no trade clause.

He would have to waive that.

Last year was the juiced ball.

Could he hit 40+?

Maybe, but I dont think the odds favor it.

Even with 49 last year, he hit .271.

Steamer has him .251 11 hrs

Arenado .296 14

Suarez is nice, but hes not Arenados equal.

And last season Suarez hit 49 homers to Arendo's 41.  I'd say Suarez has the homer edge until proven otherwise.  Let Arendo win it back from the 3B homer champ.  Then he has bragging rights. Until then Suarez is the champ.  And Steamer's projections are just that.  Helium right now.

If we are playing hr only, give Suarez the stuffed animal.

If we are playing roto, better put more money in the machine.

Suarez lead NL with 189 ks

Arenado had 93 ks

Arenado won oba, runs, rbis, ks

Suarez won one catergory 49 hrs, and lost every other catergory.

My point was Suarez had a career year, and still only won 1 out of 6 categories.

if it's worth anything, Arenado netted Luis Castillo + Eloy Jimenez in my 14-team 5X5 Roto
that said, the trade went through prior to the 2019 season, so Arenado was younger and LC/Eloy may have had lower value.
