Too much for Hiura? WHIR

Recommended Posts

I am in a rebuild and have a chance to get Hiura. The other manager wants to give Hiura for Lux, Renato Nunez and Carter Kieboom. Is this too high a price....I don't have many high end pieces, so tempted to do it. I may also be blinded by my Gavin Lux crush...lol. It is a H2H category league with OPS. Full keeper.

My team is below:

I think the combo of Lux and Kieboom will long term be more valuable for you than Hiura. If you could find a way to not include one of them then I would do it but including both gives up too much long term upside for me.

Help with mine?

Anyone else? I don't care about trading Nunez and to an extent Kieboom, but Lux seems like he is not that far off from Hiura. Am I thinking about this wrong or being too cheap?

In theory I think it’s fine.  2 high end prospects for a stud is Usually a win,  My worry is that Hiura could be Odor.  If I’m trading lux and kieboom, I’d rather have a sure thing.

This is a tough one since Hiura had an outstanding year last year in both minors/majors combined. I think if you're looking towards more pop and a somewhat proven major league talent - esp. in the near term, I'd pull the trigger. My only concern with this is that Lux or Kieboom ends up being a better player down the line.

It‘s a fair bit high price. Personally I’m not high on Lux as he struggled in the bigs so far and until he succeeds he’s just a lottery ticket that looks worse.
