Keeper Help (WHIR)

Recommended Posts

12 team, PPR scoring

Other Keeper could either be:

Leonard Fournette - 3rd Round
Robert Woods - 4th Round

AJG - 7th Round

I know neither option is great (Fournette a 3rd rounder, Woods floating around late 3rd/early 4th, so keeper value doesn’t provide much), AJG dropping due to hammy concerns.

Who would you keep out of those? WHIR

Woods and it's not close. Jacksonville is going to move on from Fournette after they run him into the ground this season. Fournette will also not see as many targets as he did last season with Jay Gruden bringing in Chris Thompson.

You brought up AJG's injury concerns and I have the same concerns.

Woods is an easy call for me, and you're getting him a round later than what he's currently going for. Woods could be a low end WR1 this season in PPR formats and I think he will be without Cooks in the picture.

Woods is the answer in a vacuum here I think. A case could be made to keep for Fournette if you know for sure that all of the other starting RBs are being kept and you have no shot at them or the feasible starting rookies.

I think I’d go fournette here. I’d rather lock up a starting back.

Fournette easily. WR depth is super deep and you can wait on those.

I guess both Fournette and Woods are ok. At least you're not overpaying. In PPR I think I pick Woods and hope I can get some value in the first 3 rounds.

You mention "other" keeper; what is the other one?

I should clarify that the cost of a keeper is the round they were drafted in the previous year (year in brackets).

I guess with Fournette, is there a point in selecting him as a Keeper if he should be in that position vs grabbing Woods a round earlier or hoping that the 7th AJG brings in a high end WR3/low end WR2?
