None of us thought they would be playing catchup with the Panthers. Better suits Ekeler's game. In a closer contest, Kelly will be heavily involved again as he was in week 2. owenmills 5,326
I'm starting to feel like this guy is similar to Lats Murray. High end stash/handcuff, with very uninspiring stand-alone value(although there is some).
CABLE87 1,749
Yeah I started him thinking the chargers would be up big and use kelley to kill the clock.... Nope!!! Any given sunday!!!

If they didn't just trail to the Panthers the entire game and then ultimately lose, i'd say just look at the schedule and play him in competitive contests. Problem is, I don't know how many teams the Chargers are actually going to be competitive with 💩

It also came down to regression to the mean. Kelley is not going to sniff 23 carries most weeks. He's also not going to put up many 50-yard receiving games. Ekeler is too good and the Chargers are too bad for that to happen. Kelley is a high-end handcuff, he'll have a few games with standalone value but will not be consistent enough to start. He could be a rock solid RB2 if that happens, but his volume is too limited right now with Ekeler's touches factored in.
LAeagle 131
Can’t bank on injury so therefor he’s not a stash. The past 2 weeks shows in the NFL you can’t predict when one will have the lead and need to run vs Be behind and throwing the ball

I'd a imagine almost zero to anyone who's not an ekeler owner. This is like stashing chase edmunds. Missing waiver guys but the upside on these rbs if there's an injury is genuinely league winning. Popular Post JaylenBrownFanclub 111
Cant drop him, cant trade him, cant start him. These are the players that always find their way onto my team.
owenmills 5,326
I stash these high upside guys like crazy too. The problem is when injuries or byes hit hard. I'm going to try to hold Kelley for as long as I possibly can
atrium 1,171
Is there a reason he completely stunk it up again, even with Ekeler out? Anyone who watched have any answers?
tpat30 784
They'll probably go RBBC. Even if the hand off was terrible, that was mostly on Kelley. He literally fumbled the game away up 24-7.
ponchsox 1,800
Yikes if Ekeler is hurt this is a timeshare

SkittleMania 98
After this loss, Lynn's seat just got a lot hotter so he might have to forgive Kelley sooner rather than later if he thinks Jackson is going to carry the bulk of a timeshare. These old school hard a** coaches can be their own worse enemy.

ST. STEVEN 4,149
Fumble sh-mumble (it might have even been charged to Herbie). There was absolutely no space to run against the nasty front 7 of TB, not to mention over half the o-line was out. He caught all his targets and might be a feature guy for the near future.
