I got a bit interested in the Gordon/Lindsay split question so I did what anyone who is trying to answer a question should do: went looking for evidence.  That in a minute, but first let us talk about

Indeed! He's constantly having to prove he's the better RB. He beat Royce and that other garbage his rookie season. It's too bad he got hurt because he's definitely a better RB than Gordon at this poi

Denver seems to be the Detroit of the west when it comes to their RB situation.  They bury their best guys and then try to force the guys they "want" to do well even when they suck.  Remember when CJ

It would be nice if her caught 2-3 passes a week and was used in the screen game.

Absolutely. I'll never understand why teams don't do this more. It can be extremely effective.

Any thoughts on projections for today?  Snow on the ground in Denver and guessing they will try and control time of possession?

Nothing Scientific here but I'm avoiding him. This KC team beat up on the Ravens and the Broncos aren't half the team they are. The offense is suspicious as hell and I don't know what the full Gordon / Lindsay split will look like. For example, I'm playing McKinnon and Jamaal Williams over him for sure.

Why are you focusing on that they beat up the ravens four weeks ago and ignoring they got whooped by the raiders two weeks ago? Or barely beat Herbert?

Any news? Listed as questionable but sounds like he has not actually practiced.

He was not cleared to practice this week but could still get through concussion protocol today and be active tomorrow.

Technically he did practice Thursday/Friday on a "limited" basis.  He hasn't been cleared for contact and went through individual drills in those practices.  This is fairly standard for a concussion case.  If he passes the protocol, he'll play.

he looked great and far superior to gordon before getting knocked out.  we starting him again?

RB Phillip Lindsay

(concussion) is expected to play Sunday’s Week 8 contest against the Chargers barring any setbacks. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Lindsay is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chargers, but is expected to play. He will be sent for one more post-concussion evaluation Saturday afternoon. Fantasy managers should check back on Sunday to ensure Lindsay is active. The Broncos’ RB is currently 38th among all running backs in the latest expert consensus rankings.

I'd have him around RB32 this week if that helps.  He has been effective although the ceiling is pretty low in this bad offense.

yeah, sounds about right.  he would have had back to back 100 yard games before the knock out (granted against the pats, their was no gordon).  his lack of use in the passing game is a little baffling since he has shown in the past he can catch passes.

[...] He's clearly the stronger runner. Gordon's edge is only in the pass game, but if Lindsay gets more involved in the pass game it'll be hard not to start him as at least an RB2.  If Gordon misses time for the DUI the upcoming schedule looks sexy as hell. I'd pick this guy up if he's still available.

doesn’t need any of that to happen to be a rb2.   If MG3 misses time he’s a high end 2/ with weekly 1 potential

this is fact, not opinion.  whether or not he gets used more will determine value, but he every game he has been on the field with gordon this season, he has been the better back (while on the field).
