NFL Waiver Wire Thread 2020 Week 3

Recommended Posts

Keelan Cole is looking like a nice WR add. Minshew is here to stay and is a sneaky Top 12 QB this year.

How would you rank McKinnon, Davis, Freeman, and Lewis?  I'm a McCaffrey owner.

If you're 0-2 and don't have much room for error the next 4 weeks or so I'd prioritize Davis.   He's the one with the most solid role while CMC is out.

McKinnon, Lewis, Freeman, Davis.

McKinnon actually plays for a decent team giving him more value, imo.

1. Davis - this is the safest pickup

2. McKinnon - the most potential for a breakout season but a lot of things need to go right for him

3. Freeman - Giants are pretty much guaranteed to sign him and he will be the early down guy in a week or two. He may even take passing downs eventually so he’s a potential feature RB. But the team and offensive line is awful.

4. Lewis - I wouldn’t bother. There is a reason the Giants don’t trust him to be the guy.

Davis is the only target for me. Maybe Freeman if he signs with Giants

the way things are going, might just stash pollard, mattison, edmonds, if they aren't taken already..

Waivers are always about being a week early on players to avoid the bidding wars and I think this season in particular it is worth hanging on to at least one highly valued handcuff if you can.

I think Davis is the only RB waiver move this week worth being somewhat aggressive on. I think the NYG situation is going to be murky. Pittman is an interesting target if you need help at WR. Wouldn't be an auto-start but there was one pass in particular where he made a play on a ball that got hit and bobbled into the air - Came down with it and you could tell Rivers appreciated him making a play on it. Definitely built trust.

might be a week to let everyone make claims and shoot to the top of the WW priority lists if you are one of the few not hit big by injuries this past week

All of these running backs should have been drafted in 12 team leagues.

I'm really thinking about grabbing Mattison.

CMC is like superman so he'll most likely play through any ankle injury but there's an outside chance that it's a high ankle sprain that could keep him out a week or 2.

...or 6.

I wouldn't prioritize the backup for the guy with the shortest timetable for return, but that's just me

Your logic is all wrong. McKinnon will have value all season long. Once CMC returns, Davis disappears.

I love playing against GMs like you though ;)
