NFL Waiver Wire Thread 2020 Week 3

Recommended Posts

I'm not too high on McKinnon. The way everyone is going down, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets injured as well.

Your logic is all wrong. McKinnon will have value all season long. Once CMC returns, Davis disappears.

I love playing against GMs like you though ;)

maybe you haven't noticed Davis' involvement in the passing game. I'd prefer a guy who is more likely to see my lineup as a starter, than McKinnon's season long "value".

I play in 16 team leagues so waivers doesn't matter anyways because all of these guys are rostered. You'd get worked in my league 😉

I don't judge masochists who enjoy losing, so do you.

Anyone worried about the schedule for Davis?

Chargers, Cardinals, Falcons, Bears, Saints, Falcons

Chargers seem to have a solid D. The Cardinals have improved. I think he's startable vs the falcons, but the bears and saints is rough.

I don't understand the Henderson hype. Seems like a three back committee went to a two back committee temporarily.

Lewis will be overvalued by the average manager and probably isn't long for a solid starting job

I'm worried about more than his schedule. But time in need calls for desperate measures.

Henderson

McKinnon

Which is the better ADD, time will tell.

Henderson is likely rostered in most leagues though.

Jeff Wilson may go unnoticed on a lot of wires and may have a bigger role than ppl think. Who knows if Kyle Shanhan believes Jet can handle a full workload

No one is expecting Jet to handle a full workload.

the way things are going, might just stash pollard, mattison, edmonds, if they aren't taken already..

Zeke is a thoroughbred, the other two are 110% must own with the bandaids/no track record of a work load in front of them.

In deep leagues...I'd probably grab Van Jefferson. He looks really good in that offense. If Kupp or Woods ever misses time...watch out.

He only had 27 carries last season BUT 16 of them were in the red zone

I would be worried he vultures the GL work from Jet.

you could worry but jet wasn’t even there to take those carries for himself last year so it may be different this time around.

As a Mostert owner I have my eyes on Wilson for sure. Probably after Mike Davis and D. Henderson (and skipping the Gallman/Lewis/potential D. Freeman mess).

Shanahan refuses to give one RB the ball. Now he's down to 2. And he has an iffy passing game.

Believe Wilson has been the red zone RB when he's active.

Flying way under the radar and could be a nice flex.

Let's talk about WRs for a minute...what do you think of these guys as pick-ups this week?

- N. Harry

- T. Smith

- M. Pittman

- C. Davis

- R. Gage

-Yes, good rotational piece based on matchup. Good value when NE is in somewhat of a shootout (check SEA game), not very valuable when NE can run the ball almost the whole game (check MIA game)

- Meh, once Michael Thomas comes back he is almost irrelevant. Brees isn't good enough anymore to support two fantasy viable WRs on top of passing to Jared Cook and Kamara

- Yes, heavy run team so low-er volume here but with how Hilton has looked I could see him becoming the team's WR1. WR3-4 value imo

- Am I really writing about Corey Davis in 2020? Yes, I am. I'd add him, he looks good, but volume is a concern once AJ Brown returns. Can't see much more than WR5 maybe WR4 value here.

- Yes... again, crazy that this offense is producing 3 fantasy viable WRs. Matt Ryan could very well break his own pass attempts record this year. Gage has WR4-5 value. WR3+ if Ridley and/or Julio miss time.
