NFL Waiver Wire Thread 2020 Week 3

Recommended Posts

Is it just me, or is Shenault the only promising rookie WR this year that is available in most leagues? I know it's very early, but I can't think of another potential breakout WR on waivers that has really done much of anything. I guess Campbell had that chance?

Campbell isn’t a rookie. I agree with you about Shenault so far. Jeudy might pickup whenever Lock returns and Ruggs could have some decent games here and there. But Laviska might be in the best situation to produce out of all rookie WRs.

Grabbed “Hasta Laviska” everywhere I could; plug & play🏈 Last week & this WW period been stashing Claypool in as many leagues as possible. Kid is a Beast 6’4, Ben looking for him on deep routes, good snap counts, D. Johnson has toe issue, etc. Talent wins!

My fault. I read that as you were grouping him as a breakout rookie WR, not breakout WR in general.

If ya'll have the bench room definitely pick up my boy "Final Shenaultimatum"

Watch out for Mooney on the Bears. Seems like Anthony Miller is in the dog house.

Here's a really deep play:

Reggie Gilliam on Buffalo - has TE and RB eligibility on Yahoo

Caught a TD last week and it's possible Dawson Knox could be out with a concussion, Tyler Kroft hasn't caught a pass all year so Gilliam could be their number one TE this week against the Rams.

Reminder to check the waivers to see who was dropped this week.  With all the injuries this last week there's a good chance some teams had to drop a good player to fill a need.

Didn't go through all the pages so I apologize if someone already mentioned this.

Keelan Cole is looking like a nice WR add. Minshew is here to stay and is a sneaky Top 12 QB this year.

Whoops

Its one game. Doesnt mean Minshew is done or still has a lot of upside. Chark being out hurt as well as the bad WR play from DD and Conley. Yeah, Cole didnt produce as much as I thought he would, but I wouldnt give up on either just yet.

Agree on Claypool. Excited to pick him up and stash him. He's going to be a star sooner than later. I expect him to surpass Washington for Pitt's wr3, and if Juju or Diontae go down, look out.

I also like Hamler, who will certainly get more opportunities in the short term, but didn't want two rookie WRs on my bench.

KeeSean Johnson just got activated off the Covid list - his upshot is same as Isabella's with Shatner out 🤷‍♂️

Guaranteed you'll be able to grab Lawrence Cager -- 6-5 Georgia Product Jets Fans have been clamoring to get on the field.

Excited to see what he does with the opportunity -- he will get a chance on Sunday.

What if KJ Hamler is the fantasy WR that everyone wants Laviska Shenault to be?

That's bold, but I like it. Unfortunately Lock isn't Mahomes. But as of right now, I like Driskel for Hamler's upside. I am scared that Lock will just focus on Fant and Jeudy once he is back. Lock did not look good at all. Hoping Driskel takes the job this year and Lock learns from the pine.
