McLaurin for Swift? (WHIR!)

Recommended Posts

12 team half ppr

Just got offered this trade and not sure how to feel. I'm 5-1 currently tied for best in the league (play the other 5-1 dude this week). Thoughts? I feel like McLaurin is probably too much for Swift but definitely interested in getting a deal done for one of their RBs. They lost Ertz so I'm also considering making a bigger deal by throwing in one of my TEs.

My team:

QB: Herbert

RB: Henry, Henderson, Gibson, Dobbins

WR: Theilen, McLaurin, Jefferson, Parker, Kupp

TE: Engram, Higbee

D/ST: Ravens, Chiefs (1 week rental)

IR: Ekeler

Their team:

QB: Big Ben

RB: Cook, Jacobs, Taylor,  Swift

WR: Ridley, Gallup, DJ Moore, Fitz

TE: Ertz

D/ST: Tampa

Tough call.  Trading a reliable producer for someone who could produce if given the opportunity.

I might wait a week.  If Swift sees more production then he is a viable trade target.  His value will go up, but McLaurin is still likely in his value range unless he blows up again.  Right now I think McLaurin's value is moderately to significantly higher than Swifts...

I think you hold. If you can get 1 more piece alongside Swift, it's good, but 1:1 is a bit meh with Swift being such an unknown in terms of usage.

I'd prefer McLaurin in a vacuum but I think this trade might be worth the risk as your team is pretty deep overall. How many WRs do you start? I think I would prefer to try and move Kupp for Swift if I could. I think I would definitely want another RB to play around with if I was you.

I prefer McLauring. Swift is still in a three headed backfield.
