jcbarr 0
Anyone here participate in simulation sports leagues? Leagues that are run using a video game as a platform? I currently created such a league and am looking for members. Here are the details. The game uses Front Page Sports: Baseball Pro 98 as its simulation engine. This game was way ahead of its time back in '98 when it came out, and it still holds up as far as I am concerned. The game is physics based and relies on physical ratings of players to determine the outcome of every play. All of this can be modified using a simple text file. More information on that is available on the league forums if you are interested. Everything is done online, there is no need to own the game. Reports are generated and posted to the website for all to see and owners then manage their teams accordingly. We use a pretty simple salary system and are beginning our 5th season next week. If you are interested, here are some links you can check out. Feel free to contact me directly if you are interested in joining. You can do this by signing up on the forums and sending me a message or by messaging me here, either way is fine.
